Company Description The City of Buda Police Department, established on October 20, 2010, serves the community of Buda, Texas, with a commitment to crime prevention and public service. Founded under the leadership of Chief Bo Kidd, the department started with experienced personnel, including a chief, detective, traffic officer, patrol officers, administrative staff, and an animal control officer. As of 2026, it has grown to 31 personnel. As one of Texas' newest police departments, it consistently strives to ensure the safety and well-being of Buda’s residents. The department is dedicated to providing professional and compassionate law enforcement services to the community. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Buda, TX, for a Police Officer at the Buda Police Department. The Police Officer will be responsible for maintaining public safety, conducting patrols, enforcing local, state, and federal laws, and responding to emergency and non-emergency calls. Additional responsibilities include conducting criminal investigations, managing evidence, and providing guidance to ensure community safety and crime prevention.
