Real Estate Investment / Development Professional (Multifamily)
Overview A global real estate investment platform backed by a major international construction and engineering group is seeking a Real Estate Investment / Development professional to support its U.S. expansion.The firm focuses on multifamily investments across major East Coast markets and is actively involved in ground-up development projects in partnership with leading local developers.This role offers the opportunity to be involved across the full lifecycle of real estate investments, from acquisition through development execution and asset stabilization.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport sourcing and evaluation of multifamily investment opportunities across major East Coast marketsPerform financial analysis and underwriting for ground-up development projectsAssist in structuring and execution of joint venture investments with local partnersCoordinate with developers, architects, contractors, and other third parties throughout the development processMonitor project progress including budget, timeline, and overall executionSupport asset-level performance tracking and reporting post-stabilizationPrepare investment materials for internal decision-makingQualifications5–12 years of experience in real estate investment, development, or related fieldDirect exposure to multifamily ground-up development projects preferredExperience working with real estate developers, REITs, or investment firmsStrong understanding of real estate financial modeling and underwritingFamiliarity with development process including budgeting, permitting, and constructionExperience with joint venture structures is a plusStrong analytical and communication skillsAbility to work in a lean, hands-on environmentPreferred BackgroundExperience at a real estate developer, REIT, or real estate private equity firmExposure to East Coast markets such as New York, Boston, Washington DC, or other major regional marketsCandidates with both investment and development exposure are highly desirableCompensation Competitive base salary and bonus, commensurate with experience.
