Product Development Technician/ Formulation Technician

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT TECHNICIAN📍 Mentor, OH 44060🕒 Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM🏢 Onsite PositionWe are seeking a Product Development Technician with hands-on experience in formulation, compounding, and laboratory testing within the adhesives, sealants, coatings, rubber, or plastics industry.This is NOT a Quality Control, Pharmaceutical, Food Science, Environmental Testing, or Clinical Laboratory position. Candidates without direct formulation or product development experience will not be considered.Key Job Functions:• Product Formulation & Batch Preparation• Laboratory Testing & Product Validation• Technical Documentation & Data AnalysisRequired Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate degree with 5+ years of relevant experience• Experience with rubber, plastics, compounding, coatings, adhesives, or sealants• Experience performing ASTM-based testing• Ability to prepare and mix formulations using laboratory equipment• Strong technical documentation and reporting skills• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint• Ability to work safely in laboratory and manufacturing environments• Comfortable using power tools such as drills, saws, routers, and fabrication equipment• Strong communication and teamwork skills• Ability to independently manage testing activities and communicate resultsIMPORTANT:Applications from candidates whose backgrounds are primarily in pharmaceuticals, food science, environmental testing, medical devices, or quality control laboratories without formulation/product development experience will not be considered.
