Data EngineerLocation: Addison, TX (3-4 Days/Week Onsite)The RoleWe are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Dallas team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a hands-on individual contributor role at the center of our data platform operations. You will own the stability and reliability of our current data infrastructure while we build toward a Microsoft Fabric-native future state, and you will be a key voice in shaping what that future state looks like.This role is for someone who thrives in complex, real-world data environments — where systems are undocumented, edge cases are the norm, and making things understandable is as important as making them work.What You Will DoOwn and operate existing data pipelines across Azure data services and DatabricksMonitor, triage, and resolve data quality and pipeline issues across operational and reporting systemsDocument data flows, integration patterns, and system dependencies, turning tribal knowledge into durable assetsSupport Power BI reporting infrastructure across multiple business unitsCollaborate with the platform team on architecture decisions as we migrate to Microsoft FabricParticipate in design reviews to ensure continuity between current and future stateWhat We Are Looking ForRequired5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in the Microsoft Azure ecosystemStrong SQL and data modelling fundamentalsProduction experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, or DatabricksProven ability to work independently, diagnosing problems, owning outcomes, and documenting what you learnStrong communication skills and a collaborative working stylePreferred:Hands-on experience with or active exploration of Microsoft Fabric- certifications, personal projects, or production exposureFamiliarity with Dynamics 365 F&O data architecture and ERP integration patternsExperience working across multiple ERP or source systems in a multi-entity environment
