Licensed Insurance Sales Representative

This position is with the Orlando | Apopka GEICO Local Office.The Orlando | Apopka GEICO Local Office is looking for energetic and competitive insurance sales agents who will prepare personalized insurance quotes, work our exclusive leads, cross-sell appropriate products, and close sales. No cold calling! The managing agent will provide consistent one-on-one training, coaching, and mentoring to help you meet sales goals and maximize your performance-based pay. This position does not have a maximum top end, the more you sell the more you make! As a GEICO Insurance Sales Agent, we will teach you how to listen to our customers, identify their needs, answer all of their questions, and overcome objections.Insurance experience is a plus but not required.This position is with a GEICO exclusive agent.Required SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalentFlorida 2-20 or 4-40 Insurance License or equivalent (Have, or obtain within 20 days of hiring)Ability to read, write, and communicate fluentlyExcellent grammar, computer, and typing skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high customer volume environmentSales experience or desire to work in a competitive sales environmentHighly motivated and self-driven, strong persuasion skills, excellent dependabilityCoachable, willing to learn a high volume of information, and willing to accept & learn from provided feedback.Preferred SkillsBilingual (Spanish)Prior sales experience (phone sales a plus)Prior customer service experienceAbout GEICO: We are one of the largest insurance companies in the state of Florida and a member of the Berkshire Hathaway Family.
