Optometric Technician

Optical Technician Pleasant Optics Mount Pleasant, Michigan Busy Optometrist office looking for a friendly, motivated, team player to join our optical staff. Full time position. Some Saturday mornings and evening hours possible. Occasional fill-in at Alma, Carson City or St. Louis locations. Optical experience preferred but not required. Responsibilities will include: Greeting patients with a smile Performing preliminary testing Recording patient/family health history Testing of visual acuities Verifying eyeglass prescriptions Ordering contact lenses Entering prescription medications May also include: Answering phones Verifying various insurances Receiving payments for services/goods Scheduling appointments Patient referrals Various tasks as needed We are a fast paced, growing business with four locations and lots of opportunities.
