This position ensures compliance with federal and state employment laws, Illinois School Code, and Board of Education policies while supporting a positive and efficient onboarding experience for all new employees.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain and ensure accuracy of employee information within HRIS platforms such as Tyler School ERP Pro, Frontline Recruitment & Hiring, and GCN.Conduct regular quality checks to verify data integrity across all HR systems.Schedule and conduct in-person onboarding appointments with new employees.Ensure all required employment documentation is collected, verified, and compliant prior to hire; follow up with new employees regarding any missing materials.Enter new employee information into HRIS systems and process employment status changes, including name, address, and position updates.Collaborate with the Payroll department to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee information.Assist with planning and facilitating new hire orientation sessions.Provide administrative and technical support to the HR team as needed.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.Previous experience in Human Resources or administrative support strongly preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms).Experience using HRIS systems and maintaining data accuracy; Tyler School ERP Pro experience preferred.Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable meeting and assisting employees in person.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.Regular, consistent attendance required at assigned work locations.Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range: $41,000 - $52,000 (commensurate with education and experience)Benefits: Fully Board-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance availableApplication ProcessInterested candidates should apply online at www.unit5.orgINTERNAL APPLICANTS WANTING TO APPLY SHOULD USE THE INTERNAL APPLICATION
