Strategic Program Manager | Data & Digital Transformation Location: Remote / Hybrid OptionsLength: 6 month+ (likely to extend) Role Type: High-Level Strategic Execution The ChallengeOur organization is at a critical inflection point. We are executing a massive evolution of our Data & Digital ecosystem and require a "Fixer"—a Program Manager who excels at bridging the gap between high-level executive strategy and technical execution. We don’t need a project tracker; we need a driver. You will be the operational lead for high-stakes, cross-functional initiatives, tasked with turning ambiguity into a high-velocity delivery engine. The "Day Zero" RealityYou aren't walking into a pre-defined process. You are being brought in to build the framework. Within your first 21 days, you will be expected to:Deconstruct ambiguous, complex goals into a rigorous execution roadmap.Identify "hidden" cross-functional dependencies that threaten delivery.Establish a governance cadence that senior leaders actually rely on for decision-making.Core ResponsibilitiesInitiative Leadership: Lead end-to-end execution for large-scale digital transformations (e.g., product integrations, platform migrations, or operating model shifts).Neutral Source of Truth: Act as the objective owner of project health. You provide clear, data-backed recommendations when priorities conflict—not just status updates.Influence & Accountability: Drive results across Engineering, Product, and Finance teams without relying on formal reporting lines.Executive Advisory: Partner with senior leadership to translate complex technical roadblocks into actionable business decisions.Risk Intelligence: Anticipate bottlenecks 6–8 weeks out and proactively mitigate them before they impact the critical path. The Ideal Profile7–10+ Years of Experience: Proven track record in Program Management, Strategy Execution, or Tech Operations within large, matrixed environments.Technical Fluency: You understand the modern SDLC, Cloud/Data infrastructure, and how Product and Engineering teams work together.Structured Thinking: You possess a natural ability to turn "chaos into clarity" through logic and organized frameworks.High-Agency Mindset: You are a self-starter who doesn't wait for direction; you see an operational gap and you fill it.Direct Communication: You are comfortable pushing back on leadership and challenging the status quo to protect the delivery timeline. Why This Role? This is a high-visibility engagement. You will have the autonomy to shape the operational heartbeat of our most critical digital initiatives. We value precision, directness, and a relentless focus on outcomes over activities. What Success Looks LikePhase 1 (3 weeks): Initiatives have clear owners, documented dependencies, and realistic timelines.Phase 2 (60 days): An established operating cadence is actively driving decisions and reducing cross-departmental friction.Phase 3 (Delivery): The initiative shows measurable progress against strategic KPIs with a significantly improved "speed to value."
