This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to safety, quality, and teamwork while making a positive impact on the health and safety of our communities. Applicants must hold a valid South Carolina Asbestos License. Required Documents Valid South Carolina Asbestos Worker License Current Asbestos Physical Initial or Refresher Asbestos Training Certificate Respirator Fit Test Key Responsibilities Perform asbestos abatement and mold remediation in compliance with all safety procedures. Safely handle, remove, and dispose of hazardous materials following federal, state, and local regulations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Restore affected areas through cleaning, repairs, or rebuilding. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time spent. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficiency and adherence to project timelines. Participate in ongoing training to stay current on industry best practices and regulatory changes. Qualifications Proven experience in asbestos abatement preferred. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards for hazardous material handling. Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols. Effective communication skills for teamwork and client interaction. Certification in mold remediation or asbestos abatement is a plus; training may be provided for the right candidate.
