In this critical role, you will be a vital part of our NDT team ensuring the integrity of materials, parts and components critical to the aerospace industry. You will perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on these components to identify potential defects and imperfections that impact their integrity and ensure they meet the highest standards required for aerospace applications.Responsibilities:Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on a variety of materials, parts, components, and assemblies to identify internal and surface defectsSelect and set up appropriate NDT equipment based on the specific test requirements and material propertiesPerform NDT inspections using various methodsInterpret and analyze test results to identify and characterize defects, ensuring adherence to relevant codes and standardsPrepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, including clear documentation of findings and recommendationsInstruct, train and/or supervise traineesAdhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing inspectionsLoading and unloading parts for shippingQualifications:Minimum certification as an NDT Level II inspector in one or more NDT methods (e.g., VT, PT, MT)Strong understanding of NDT principles and various inspection techniquesExperience with robotics, CNC programming, or automated inspection systems; exposure to part programming and automation is highly valued as a significant portion of our NDT work involves the automated inspection processExperience in interpreting and analyzing NDT data to identify defectsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong mechanical aptitudeFamiliarity with relevant safety regulations and proceduresBenefitsCompetitive salary Comprehensive benefits including; Health Insurance, HSA,401k with automatic company contribution, LTD, STD and more!Opportunity for professional development and advancementPhysical DemandsAble to lift and carry up to 50 lbsAble to rig and hoist parts of various weights and dimensionsMust be able to stand for extended periodsIf you are a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for quality control, we encourage you to apply!Powered by JazzHRPD3z3ArLjj
