Job DescriptionRemX is seeking an Automation Technician based in the Chicago area.$99k base- 50% travel, full benefit package - Direct Hire role!Come work for a company where the employees love what they do!(Role is open due to GROWTH!)Duties:Create technical project documentation. Assist outside personnel in troubleshooting technology. Evaluate new technologies and innovations. Work on functional and risk analyses with design stakeholders. Modify software to meet specifications. Train company personnel to implement and troubleshoot new functions and techniques once developed. Travel 50% (typically 3 weeks in and 1 week out of office per month). Requirements:PLC experience (Motion control in B&R)Experience with Software designer (Structured text, ladder Logic, and Function Block)Experience with Automation Studio (B&R)Experience with Rockwell Studio 500Experience with Siemens TIA Portal V17Experience with NFPA 79Experience with Rockwell Automation: Safety Automation BuilderExperience with SISTEMA is a plus. BS in Electrical EngineeringPrior experience troubleshooting industrial control systems. $99k base- 50% travel, full benefit package - Direct Hire role!
