This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for RNs seeking to grow in acute care, trauma, and emergency medicine. Our Emergency Department provides high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages and acuity levels.Position OverviewAs an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will deliver professional nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment. You will assess, triage, and provide care for patients experiencing medical, surgical, trauma, and behavioral health emergencies.Responsibilities include:Triage and manage multiple ER patients simultaneously.Provide safe, evidence-based, compassionate nursing care.Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and healthcare teams.Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge plans.Document timely and accurately according to policy. QualificationsAssociate or Diploma in Nursing required. BSN preferred.Current RN license in Virginia or compact state eligibility.BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS preferred.Minimum 1 year of ER/acute care RN experience preferred (will consider Med-Surg RN for night shift training).
