If you have a passion for technology, enjoy working with hardware, working on your feet and with your hands, this is the position for you.Qualified candidates must be comfortable using computers, learning new software, and working on their feet in a physical warehouse environment.As a Material Handler you will:Ensure all packaging such as cardboard and wraps are disposed of according to company policyAssisting in shipping, receiving, storage and distribution activities for the Data Center to include unboxing and boxing/crating of data center equipmentAssisting in inventory control, cycle count programs, de-trashing and breaking down materials & keeping the facility clean and organizedOperate manual or electronic/motorized material handling equipment. This equipment can include pallet jacks and forkliftsFrequent use of computers, scanners, and mobile devices used in the shipping, receiving, and inventory processesSchedule: Monday Friday 7am to 3:30pmThe ideal candidate will have:2 years of experience working in any of these fields. Warehouse, material handling, or shipping/receiving.Above average knowledge of computers and technology.Experience operating forklifts.Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a semi regular basisAble to stand and walk for most of your shiftAble to work in a team and independently as neededAbility to pass pre-employment screeningsBasic computer skills - Basic typing skills and understanding how to use a computer; familiarization with Apple Pages, Numbers, Keynote and/or Microsoft SuitePay Rate: $24.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
