The ideal candidate will have prior medical office experience and a professional, friendly demeanor when assisting patients in person and over the phone. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, greeting patients, verifying insurance information, processing referrals, collecting copays and outstanding balances, and maintaining accurate patient records in the EMR system. Candidates should be comfortable handling a fast paced front desk, managing multiple tasks efficiently, and communicating clearly with patients, providers, and staff. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent service in a busy healthcare environment are essential. Experience with referrals, collections, and electronic medical records is preferred.
