Used Car BuyerAs a Used Car Buyer at a Rohrman dealership, you play a critical role in driving inventory and profitability. You'll be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring pre-owned vehicles that meet our standards and market demand. This is a fast-paced, performance-driven role with strong earning potential and a team that supports your success. ResponsibilitiesSource and acquire used vehicle inventory through auctions, trade-ins, and direct purchases. Evaluate vehicles for mechanical condition, market value, and resale potential. Utilize online auction platforms and internal systems to identify and secure inventory. Monitor market trends, pricing guides, and competitor activity to make informed buying decisions. Work closely with sales and service teams to ensure inventory aligns with dealership needs. Manage and track purchases, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing. Negotiate pricing and purchases to maximize profitability. RequirementsMechanical awareness with the ability to assess vehicle condition and value. Experience with inventory sourcing, auctions, and online purchasing tools. Strong computer skills and ability to work within multiple systems daily. Self-motivated with strong decision-making and negotiation skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Preferred Qualifications2+ years of experience in the automotive industry. Prior experience in used vehicle buying, appraising, or inventory management.
