Child Care Assistant-Part Time

Provides childcare at the Childrens Activity Center and/or Athletic Club; greets parents, intakes infants and children, and provides direct responsible supervision of those left in the care of staff. Assists with planning, organizing, and chaperoning programs and special events; assists with planning of camps and field trips. Maintains work areas including toys and craft supplies; cleans and vacuums work areas and child areas; cleans and sanitizes toys, checks for damage or unsafe conditions. Assists with staffing front desk or reception areas and providing customer service. May be asked to perform additional job duties that are directly, indirectly or completely unrelated to normal job functions in the course of presenting certain Town special events. Performs related duties as required or assigned.
