CPE Internship Program - Summer 2026 (BUMC)

Summer 2026 Program, Start Date June 1st, 2026 The Clinical Pastoral EDU Intern offers spiritual and emotional support to Baylor Scott & White Health patients, families, and staff. This is done under the supervision of an ACPE Certified Educator. The CPE Internship can be a ten-week full-time program or a part-time program lasting up to twenty-six weeks. The program is accredited by ACPE: The Standard for Spiritual Care and Education and follows Baylor Scott & White Health policies. Essential Functions of the Role. Fulfills CPE requirements as designated in the ACPE Standards and the specific CPE Curriculum outlined in the Baylor Scott & White Health CPE System Student Handbook. Gains knowledge and experience through various educational and clinical assignments. A professional chaplain serves as a "Mentor" in the intern's spiritual care within interdisciplinary teams.
