Data Engineer With MemSQLLong Term ContractIrving, TXJob Summary:As a Data Engineer specializing in MemSQL, you will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and architectures that support our data-driven initiatives. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data systems are robust, scalable, and efficient.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement data models and ETL processes using MemSQL.Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow from various sources to our data warehouse.Optimize queries and performance for large-scale data processing within MemSQL.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical guidance.Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure high availability and performance.Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive data.Stay updated with the latest advancements in data engineering and MemSQL features.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.Strong proficiency in MemSQL/SingleStore, including data modeling and performance optimization.Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, etc.).Proficient in SQL and experience with other programming languages (Python, Java, etc.).Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.Preferred Skills:Experience with MemSQL, data warehousing concepts and design.Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.) is a plus.Strong communication and teamwork skills.
