Home Delivered Meals Driver

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Looking for a great Part-Time job? Come deliver a nutritious meal to homebound, disabled, ill, and/or elderly individuals in Navarro County while staying compliant regarding applicable rules, regulations, and standards. This Position is part-time, Monday-Friday, 9:45 am - 2:30 pm, with a rate of $15.00 per hour. · Check-in with the supervisor upon arrival; · CSI provides agency vehicle for use, which must be pre-tripped and documented daily prior to the start of the delivery day; · Record temperature of meals and load vehicle; · First meal delivery starts at 10:30 am, and last meal no later than 1:30 pm; · Record clients absent from home at the time of delivery daily; · Report promptly to supervisor any unusual activity regarding the client; · Document food service delivery in accordance with agency guidelines; · Perform daily vehicle post-trip inspection, report any needed repair(s) to supervisor; · Clean and sanitize meal delivery coolers daily; · Delivery personnel are also required to complete any other task assigned; and · Report any medical emergency immediately by calling 911 and contact supervisor to report the nature of the emergency or other unusual situations. REQUIREMENTS: · Must have a current Texas Driver’s license, the ability to be insured, and a good driving record; · Ability to operate a smartphone/tablet for communications with supervisor and utilization of navigation application if required; · The ability to follow directives, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift 30 pounds; and · Must be friendly, enthusiastic, and committed to the goals of MAGNET, Meals on Wheels Program. · Note: All employees must complete a Criminal History Background Check, Medical Evaluation, and a Drug/Alcohol Screening. Random Drug/Alcohol Screening is required if randomly selected.
