*Job Overview* We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) to provide comprehensive women's health services, including obstetric and gynecological care, in a dynamic healthcare environment. The OB/GYN will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, performing surgical procedures, and contributing to clinical research initiatives aimed at advancing women's health.*Duties** Conduct thorough prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological examinations, ensuring accurate patient assessment and diagnosis. * Perform surgical procedures such as cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. * Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic and EMR systems to document patient encounters comprehensively and efficiently. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiology for medical imaging, pathology for diagnostic evaluation, and anesthesiology for perioperative care. * Provide family planning counseling, reproductive endocrinology services, and menopause management tailored to individual patient needs. * Manage inpatient and outpatient care settings, ensuring continuity of care through discharge planning and follow-up appointments. * Engage in clinical research activities related to obstetrics and gynecology to contribute to evidence-based practice advancements. * Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital standards while delivering high-quality patient service across diverse populations.*Skills** Extensive knowledge of obstetrics, gynecology, maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, and family planning. * Proficiency in using advanced medical imaging techniques such as ultrasound for fetal monitoring and gynecologic assessments. * Experience with surgical procedures including suturing, catheterization, and minimally invasive techniques like laparoscopy. * Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic for accurate documentation and data retrieval. * Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT coding for billing purposes, and ICD coding for diagnoses classification. * Ability to interpret diagnostic radiology reports and utilize diagnostic evaluation tools effectively. * Excellent communication skills for patient education on topics such as contraception, pregnancy management, and menopause. * Critical care experience in settings such as labor & delivery units or Level I trauma centers is advantageous. * Knowledge of perioperative care protocols, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques essential for surgical safety. * Competence in managing complex cases involving high-risk pregnancies or comorbid conditions like endocrinology or cardiology issues.
