This role also requires exceptional levels of reliability and a customer focused approach.Drivers are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and the accuracy of deliveries they carry out. Their daily functions include operation and care of delivery vans and trucks, accurate delivery of product, route management, usage of driver sheets and route materials, operation of handhelds and tablets, completion of daily paperwork, and organized truck offload. Drivers work overnight hours in a physically demanding environment that requires the ability to self-organize and self-motivate. Drivers are expected to have and maintain a professional demeanor and an excellent driving record.RequirementsDuties and Responsibilities:Follow correct procedures for safe and secure loading and unloading of trucksDelivery of all goods at all stops along assigned route or routesMust have experience Driving 26 Ft Box Truck.Must have experience driving overnight shift.Must have experience Driving in Local City Routes.Must have at least 1 year with loading and offloading delivery of Food and/or Beverage products.Must be familiar with obtaining electronic signature capture for invoicing and Product delivery.Proactive time management skills to ensure customer expectations for timely delivery of good are metManage and adjust invoices when delivering to full service accountsServe as Bread Alone brand ambassador by establishing and maintaining a professional relationship with each customerCommunicate and proactively manage any delivery errors or product shortagesMaintain cargo and cab area of assigned delivery vehicle in a neat and orderly fashion according to Bread Alone guidelinesConsistent and correct usage of nightly driver checklistMaintain fuel and DEF levels in vehicles according to company policyProvide at least six hours of notice if unable to work a scheduled shiftProper use of company gas cardsAbility to learn and operate our telemetric fleet tracking and maintenance softwareJob Requirements:Able to sit and drive for long periods of time while executing tasks quickly and accuratelyActive drivers license and clean driving recordAble to to work in a physically demanding fast-paced environmentAble to work outside with frequent exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditionsAble to work with minimum supervisionAble to communicate with precision both written and verbalComfortable with routinely shifting tasksAble to multitask, prioritize, and balance multiple time sensitive tasks simultaneouslyAble to learn and operate computer applications or other automated systems necessary to perform daily tasksRespect for and comfort with a diverse and inclusive workplaceAble to pull, push, move and lift to waist level and carry awkward and shifting weights up to 50 poundsWilling to follow all safety guidelines set out by Bread AloneWilling to take responsibility for your own and others safety a well as follow safety rules and regulations and report any unsafe conditions to managementThe Bakery is open 365 days a year and team members must be willing to work consistently throughout the year which includes holidays and weekendsJob Type: Full-time, non-exemptCompensation Details: Pay for this position is $24 per hour.We OfferCompany-Wide, Rewarding Success Together: We believe in sharing success with our team.
