Full Stack Developer (ETL, Java, Python, Bash Shell)Everforth ECS is seeking a Full Stack Developer to work onsite at our Springfield, VA customer site.Job Description:You will serve as a Full-Stack Developer on a state-of-the-art ML/AI RDT&E program focusing on integrating unique solutions and quick-wins to a government client. Leveraging agile software development approaches and your experience with front-end and back-end technologies, you will lead technical efforts with participating parties across the government and tech industry to integrate multiple ML applications into a single-fused solution. Part of this responsibility includes:Participating in server-side and client-side workEnhancing existing applications through creative techniques that are mindful of technical resources and time constraintsCo-leading product direction and feature specification with community stakeholders and Program Manager.Fundamentally, we are interested in individuals who are motivated by the mission, find meaning in solving hard-problems, and recognize operating in a hierarchically-flat environment makes for better communication, collaboration, and coordination.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM fieldMust be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI + CI Poly3 - 10+ years of experience in developing, integrating, and troubleshooting software applications for Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) solutionsStrong attention to detail and high-quality code using robust design patternsExperience in both SQL, NoSQL and in-memory databases (PostgreSQL, Elastic, Redis)Built real-time data pipeline and event-driven architectures (Kafka Streaming)Developed server-side apps and implemented end-to-end distributed tracing and system monitoring (OpenTelemetry)Designed and maintained resilient, high traffic microservicesProficiency in Python, C++, Node.js, and JavaScriptExperience with Linux -- system administration and scripting in Bash, Sed, and AwkStrong expertise in AWS cloud services (compute, storage, networking, IAM), cloud cluster, and policy management experienceAPI Integration & DevelopmentExperience with containerization/orchestration technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Rancher, OpenShift)Experience with DevSecOps frameworks (e.g. GitLab, Jira)Experience developing architecture/system diagrams and data flow diagramsExcellent communication/presentation skills to make recommendations to stakeholders with varying degrees of technical awarenessAbility to quickly grasp and leverage new technologiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment
