JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking someone with a background that will contribute on a broad level as you oversee and facilitate the execution of all company marketing, advertising, and branding. You will work alongside our sales team to increase sales in specific target areas by creating and implementing marketing and social media strategies that align with sales goals. You will be responsible for taking ownership of the marketing budget, collaborating with management on how marketing dollars will be spent, and managing future budgets. Hospitality experience, knowledge, and the love of food are a plus. Our ideal candidate will embrace and respect the freedom to be creative and innovative while coming up with ideas and putting them into action with reasoning and methodology.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading
Be forward-thinking, making sound critical decisions on higher-level items.
Work closely with Human Resources to lead the team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting and productive environment.
Lead, manage, and hold accountable the team of sales and marketing supervisors, coordinators, and associates.
Maintain an awesome work environment and be a leader to the sales and marketing team while providing guidance and assistance.
Act as the driving force behind annual sales and marketing initiatives.
Evaluate past successes and failures and adjust strategy for future needs.
Manage
Routinely analyze current sales and marketing team processes. Identify problems and facilitate solutions. Including but not limited to strategy, process, brand, budget, documentation, and primary focus.
Ensure the sales team is researching trends and making suggestions to keep Partyman a leader and trendsetter in our industry.
Manage schedules, call-ins, and time-off requests for the sales and marketing team.
Set and track sales goals and metrics and hold the sales team accountable to reach those goals, providing adequate support as needed.
Modify and keep job descriptions and department structures up to date for the sales and marketing team.
Hold weekly meetings with the sales team including a review of sales metrics, high-end clients, sales team performance, sales numbers, dropped business, and pipeline projections.
Hold weekly marketing meetings to review reports and project statuses.
Establish venue and client assignments.
Training
Identify gaps within the sales and marketing departments, research and implement training, and facilitate the training as needed.
Manage the sales team’s growth and development by means of hiring, training, reviews, SOP, SOP documentation, educational opportunities, and team structure.
Relationships
Develop the strategy behind relationship management with venues and vendors.
Oversee community engagement and involvement, including our narrative and marketing efforts.
Foster relationships with our vendors, friends, and like-minded creatives in our industry; represent the Partyman company.
Proactively troubleshoot problems that may arise to ensure customer satisfaction. Inform Supervisors, Directors, and Owner, then respond directly as needed to client matters that involve someone beyond the sales team.
Secure vendor contracts regarding services we use and partners we work with.
Identify and pursue high-level sales opportunities, such as exclusivity and other long term contracts.
Address high-level legal, compliance, and contract concerns for clients.
Collaborate with the Owner and Director of Operations in the development of:
Long-term strategy
Revenue forecasting
Pricing
Company growth
Performance goals
Long-term operational plans
Marketing
Oversee Partyman's marketing plan and budget.
Oversee the brand strategy and development of new cutting-edge proposals, collateral, and the appearance of our digital presence.
Oversee the consistency of content on all internal and external company platforms (ie: website, Caterease, print collateral, etc).
Serve as our marketing expert and resource for industry partners.
Event Development
Oversee planning and strategy of annual Partyman events; tastings, holiday party, vendor party, etc.
Be involved in the sale of high-end and unique events, and have a presence at these events.
OCCASIONAL OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE
Collaborate with other department heads to assist in problem-solving.
Assist with event support for peak weekends.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, sales, or a related field.
Experience
A minimum of 4+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of developing successful sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth.
Hospitality or food experience is a must.
Skills

Ability to sit or stand at a desk for long periods of time.
Ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally and independently.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with another team member.
Other
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to work.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
Peak-season (May - Nov): Full-time hours of up to 50+, with the goal of 40 hrs average.
Off-season (Dec - Apr): Full-time hours of approximately 40hrs.
Weekend, night, and occasional holiday availability will be required at times.

New Hire Check-in to occur 30-60 days after employment inception.
Quarterly performance meetings with the Director of Operations.
Thereafter, reviews occur annually during the Nov/Dec time period.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
