Structural Engineer
Position Description
· Responsibilities will include engineering calculations, analysis, detailed design and on fixed and/or floating offshore structures
· Develop written technical reports and presentations
· Responsible for project deliverable completeness, accuracy and quality under supervision
· Perform onshore and offshore site inspections on behalf of the company
· Engagement in development of technical data for fixed and/or floating structural integrity management
Requirements/Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
· MS or PhD Degree in Naval Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, Civil or Ocean Engineering with a GPA > 3.0 from an ABET accredited college/university required
· 0-10 years of experience
· Ability to solve difficult engineering problems and develop practical solutions
· Good communication skills that include ability to develop written reports and PowerPoint presentations.
· Computer skills which include application of typical Microsoft Office products and drawing packages such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
· Good interpersonal skills (i.e., able to work as a member of a close-knit engineering team).
· Must be willing and available to travel domestic or internationally, as needed.
Pluses
· Industry experience related to offshore structures (including internships)
· Practical knowledge of structural integrity management
· Experience with structural, hydrodynamic and/or stability analysis packages (e.g., ANSYS, ABAQUS, SACS, SESAM)
· Passed Fundamental Engineering (FE) Exam

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
