Technical Sales Representative
1. Sales and Business Development:Client Acquisition and Retention: Develop relationships with new customers, farmers, agricultural distributors, and maintain strong relations with existing clients.Market Analysis: Understand the agricultural market trends, customer needs, and competitors' products in the biostimulant industry.Sales Strategy: Execute and adjust sales strategies to meet sales targets, focusing on selling biostimulant products to key agricultural markets.Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with customers on pricing, contracts, and product volumes, closing deals to meet sales goals.2. Technical Expertise and Support:Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on biostimulant products, their functions, applications, and how they improve plant growth and crop yield.Field Trials and Demonstrations: Organize and oversee field trials, working directly with farmers and researchers to demonstrate the effectiveness of biostimulants in enhancing plant health.Technical Training: Provide technical training and advice to customers on product usage, crop protection, and maximizing yield benefits from biostimulant applications.Problem Solving: Offer solutions to customers regarding issues related to plant growth, soil health, and crop resilience using biostimulant products.3. Customer Education and Consultation:Consultative Selling: Offer insights and personalized advice based on customer needs, positioning biostimulants as a solution to their specific agricultural challenges.Technical Presentations: Conduct seminars, workshops, and presentations for customers to educate them about the advantages of using biostimulants in agriculture.Product Development Feedback: Act as a liaison between customers and product development teams, providing feedback on customer preferences, market demands, and product performance.4. Collaboration with Internal Teams:Coordination with R&D and Marketing: Work with the R&D and marketing teams to ensure alignment of product development, technical information, and sales strategies.Sales Reporting: Regularly report on sales progress, market developments, and customer feedback to management and marketing teams.Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that sales processes comply with industry regulations and maintain thorough documentation on product trials, customer interactions, and contracts.5.
