Initial and final interviews will be video‑based, but candidates must be local.Key Required SkillsWe’re looking for a subject‑matter expert in Tableau BI dashboard development with strong abilities in data management, SQL (PostgreSQL preferred), and NoSQL (MongoDB preferred).Position DescriptionDashboard Development• Build and enhance Tableau dashboards in a large, enterprise environment supporting Program A’s nationwide impact• Improve existing reporting solutions to give stakeholders clearer insight into mission‑critical operations• Apply advanced Tableau techniques (parameter actions, LODs, relationships/joins, custom visuals)• Create clean, intuitive, story‑driven dashboards focused on user experience• Transform loosely defined business needs into polished, highly functional dashboards with minimal oversightData Management & Analysis• Write and optimize SQL queries, especially in PostgreSQL• Work with imperfect or complex datasets, resolving data quality issues• Troubleshoot Tableau performance concerns (filters, calculations, queries, workbook optimization)Testing & Quality Assurance• Deliver highly accurate, thoroughly tested dashboards with low defect rates• Conduct validation and bug‑fixing in an Agile/Scrum environment• Follow technical requirements precisely and efficientlyDocumentation & Communication• Document dashboard enhancements, testing results, and technical implementations• Proactively communicate risks, blockers, and design considerations• Manage multiple enhancement requests, defects, and ad hoc reporting tasksBasic Qualifications• 7+ years of experience in analysis, system design, and development• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance• On‑site availability (Woodlawn, MD)• Master's + 5 years, Bachelor’s + 7 years, or 13 years in lieu of a degreeRequired Skills• Demonstrated expertise in Tableau dashboard development• Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, SQL (PostgreSQL preferred), and MongoDB querying• Strong dashboard UX/UI skills• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments• Ability to turn loosely defined requirements into complete, polished solutions• Excellent communication skillsDesired Skills• Familiarity with Snowflake or cloud data warehouse concepts• Experience in government or public‑sector Agile settings• Tableau certifications
