The Medical Assistant will support healthcare providers by performing a variety of tasks, including preparing patients for visits, taking vital signs, updating medical records in accordance with healthcare privacy regulations, checking in and out patients, medication draws, shipping, calling patients, and assisting with treatments and procedures as directed. The role also involves maintaining a well-organized medical office environment and fostering a positive patient experience by addressing their needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.QualificationsProficient in Medical Assisting practices, including basic clinical procedures and patient support.Knowledge of Medical Terminology and ability to accurately communicate medical information.Familiarity with Medical Office operations, including scheduling and administrative tasks.Experience in Patient Care and ability to provide compassionate, patient-focused support.Skills in maintaining and organizing Medical Records in compliance with privacy regulations.Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.Proficient in health information systems and computer applications for patient documentation.Certification or completed training as a Medical Assistant is preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with patients, providers, and staff effectively.
