Job Title: Manufacturing Production Operator (3rd Shift) Location: Columbus, NE 68601 Pay Rate: $22.70/hour Shift: 3rd Shift | Monday–Friday, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM Overtime: Must be open to weekend overtime as needed Overview This role supports a high-volume manufacturing environment, focusing on operating production equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining efficient workflow. Candidates with prior manufacturing experience will be given priority, but it is not required. What You'll Be Doing You'll be working hands-on with production equipment, keeping operations running smoothly while meeting quality and output expectations. Day-to-day, this includes monitoring and operating machinery, performing visual inspections, completing product changeovers, and handling basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime. You'll also be responsible for recording production data in systems like SAP and MES, supporting quality checks, and helping maintain a clean, compliant work environment—especially in controlled or clean room settings. The role involves working closely with a team to keep production moving efficiently, assisting with rework when needed, and rotating into different tasks to support overall operations. Accuracy and attention to detail matter here, as you'll be working with measurement tools like calipers or microscopes and ensuring all work meets GMP, FDA, and ISO standards. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor production equipment safely and efficiently Perform product inspections and quality checks Complete equipment changeovers, line clearance, and cleaning Troubleshoot minor equipment issues Enter and track production data in SAP/MES systems Maintain compliance with GMP, FDA, and ISO standards Support team production goals and minimize downtime Assist with rework and continuous improvement efforts Keep work areas clean and organized Requirements Ability to read, write, and understand English Basic math skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing experience Experience with SAP or MES systems Experience using precision measuring tools .
