This position is ideal for a cleared software engineer with strong analytical skills and a desire to design, develop, and optimize software systems that directly support critical national security missions.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a team lead when appropriate, based on the development process and project scopeDesign and implement complex database interfaces or data queries that enhance system functionality and performanceDevelop or integrate algorithms to meet or exceed mission performance standardsAssist in the creation and execution of software testing procedures to validate functionality and performanceAnalyze system performance standards and user requirements to develop robust software solutionsModify existing software to resolve defects, adapt to new environments, or improve efficiencyApply scientific analysis and mathematical modeling to predict and measure software design outcomes and impactsCollaborate with users, systems engineers, and other developers to understand workflow, data usage, and potential system challengesMinimum QualificationsActive TS/SCI clearance with polygraphBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)Experience: Minimum 7 years in roles on programs of similar scope and complexityExperience in software development, including programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and database developmentStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication and collaboration skillsBenefits at Navius TechnologiesAt Navius, we invest in our people.
