We create flexible custom work schedules for each team member. Our caregivers tell us when they are available to work. Openings for part-time and full-time caregivers/Direct Care Workers in the Hermitage, Sharon, Sharpsville, Farrell, Greenville and surrounding areas. Our focus on day-turn schedules makes this the perfect fit for working parents, retirees, college students and anyone looking for a position with a good work/life balance. We sometimes visit with more than one client during the day, so a valid driver's license and your own transportation is a must. Previous experience is great but not required and training is available. If you want to help others, we welcome you! This includes, but is not limited to: Grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, toileting, incontinence care, meal preparation, medication reminders. Assist with mobility and transfers. Light housekeeping, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, organizing and laundry. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities Transportation, shopping, running errands- if needed. Ability to lift using safe management techniques - in some circumstances Ability to follow directions and work independently. Follow care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to supervisor QUALIFICATIONS: Must have DRIVER'S LICENSE and THEIR OWN RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION! Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Possesses maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands. Comfort and willingness to assist clients with personal hygiene needs. Criminal background clearance, TB and drug screening. RELIABLE and RESPONSIBLE with a willingness to work. Strong behavior management skills to handle challenging situations with compassion and patience.
