Role Description The Conference Center Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in San Diego, CA. The role involves managing the sales of the conference center services, developing relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying opportunities to book events and conferences, conducting contract negotiations, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, and collaborating with the events team to oversee the successful execution of events. The manager is also responsible for maintaining strong community partnerships with a commitment to enhancing the Center’s mission. Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skillsExperience in Contract Negotiation and SalesProficiency in Event Management and the ability to oversee logisticsAbility to build and sustain relationships with diverse community stakeholdersStrong time management and organizational skillsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field preferredPrior experience in sales or event management is highly desirableFamiliarity with CRM tools is a plus
