Secondary school math teacher

Job Description Seeking both full time and part time teachers.We are a private arts middle and high school. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students, helping them develop a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.Duties:- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards- Teach various mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry and calculus- Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles- Provide individualized support and guidance to students as needed- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills through challenging mathematical problems- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active participation- Utilize technology and other resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve curriculum materials- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performanceQualifications:- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field- Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts across various levels- Experience in middle and high school teaching is a plus- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain disciplineTo apply, please submit your resume and cover letter.
