VERY Entry Level Assembler

Entry Level ASSEMBLER I (Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) Skills: Ability to interpret and comprehend simple oral and written instructions. Attention to detail Ability to work accurately, carry out complex, repetitive tasks quickly Well-developed eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity skills Function and Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Assembler I prepares and builds production sub-assemblies and final assemblies in accordance with specified manufacturing instructions, ensuring full conformance to specifications. Reports to: Production Supervisor Duties: Perform skilled assembly work to integrate components with assemblies and sub-assemblies Position and align parts in a specified relationship to each other, using hands and/or tweezers, into fixtures or other holding devices Perform any combination of repetitive tasks at assembly stations to mass-produce small products Able to work cohesively with other people. May be assigned to different workstations as production needs require or shifted from one station to another Perform assembly operations according to documented manufacturing procedures Meet basic quality expectations Handle very small parts and assemblies Work under supervision; guidance and instruction is provided on all work Maintain a clean, orderly and organized work area Other duties as assigned Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED is preferred 1 to 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred Other Qualifications: Must be authorized to work in the United States Ability to read and understand basic English and arithmetic Vision requirements include: close, distant, color and depth perception, and peripheral Noise conditions are moderate Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Life insurance On-the-job training Paid sick time Paid time off Work Location: In person
