Duties Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of hallways, restrooms, and common areas using approved cleaning agents and methods Maintain high standards of floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines to ensure safe work practices during all cleaning activities Removal of trash Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing special attention or additional cleaning measures Use commercial cleaning equipment efficiently and safely to maximize productivity and quality of service Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience in healthcare or commercial settings is highly recommended. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to cleaning and sanitation procedures Experience with floor care techniques such as stripping, waxing, buffing, or carpet extraction is a plus Strong understanding of environmental services practices including waste management and infection control protocols Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of quality Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods Join us in creating safe, sanitary spaces that promote health and well-being!
