Member Specialist PT

Position SummaryProvides member service. Maintains the checkout area and resolves member issues and concerns. Promotes Sam's Club products and services and offers guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology. Processes member purchases, assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures for different membership and payment types. Follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.Follows proper procedures for handling merchandise and corrects and reports unsafe situations to facility management.Maintains entrance and exit areas: acknowledges members, verifies membership cards, identifies member needs, reviews receipts, assists with securing and safeguarding Sam's Club assets and property, maintains paperwork and logs, and executes emergency response procedures to ensure compliance with company security and safety practices.Assists with the training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures, teaches new technology and tool functionality, delivers new programs rollout training, and provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.Ensures the area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with company policies by properly handling returns, arranging and organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, and complying with standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and applying the Open Door Policy.Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicates progress; recommends improvement opportunities; and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.Respect the Individual: Embraces differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences; creates a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging; helps attract the best talent. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
