This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges while developing and mentoring others.What You’ll DoLead and mentor a small mechanical engineering teamProvide technical direction for custom robotics and automation systemsOversee mechanical design from concept through build and implementationServe as a technical resource for engineers, customers, and internal teamsReview designs, troubleshoot challenges, and improve engineering processesCollaborate with controls, manufacturing, project management, and leadershipHelp maintain project schedules and engineering standardsWhat We’re Looking For7+ years of mechanical engineering experience preferredRobotics and industrial automation experience requiredPrevious engineering leadership or team lead experienceStrong custom machine/system design backgroundAutomation integrator experience strongly preferredSolidWorks or comparable 3D CAD experienceAutomotive automation experience is a plusStrong communication and problem-solving skillsEngineering degree preferred; significant relevant experience will be consideredWhy Consider It?$120K–$150K base salaryRelocation assistance availableApproximately 10% overnight travel401(k) with 4% matchMedical, dental, vision & life insurance20 days PTO + 8 paid holidaysJoin a growing organization working on sophisticated robotic and automated equipment
