This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional to step into a hands-on role with strong visibility, contributing to impactful work within a collaborative team environment.Position Details:Position Type: Temp to HirePay Rate: $35–$40/hr.Salary Upon Conversion: $75K–$90KWorksite: Fully Onsite (West Loop)Target Start Date: Mid to Late May Key Responsibilities:Lead and support monthly close processesPrepare and review daily bank reconciliationsGenerate and analyze accurate financial statementsPerform month-end allocations and expense analysisLead annual audit process, including audit schedules and coordination with external auditorsMaintain and enhance internal controls and accounting proceduresConduct detailed cost analysis and financial reportingPartner with auditors and provide necessary documentationSupport forecasting and projections with historical financial dataHandle general accounting responsibilities and ad hoc projectsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of professional accounting experienceAdvanced Excel skills requiredExperience with ERP systems (Financial Edge is a plus)Strong understanding of U.S. GAAPStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
