Tech Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager (5+ Years Experience, Technology Background) Location: Houston, TX (Relocation Required) About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager with a strong technology background and over 5 years of experience to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and delivering results in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, identifying key milestones and dependencies. Oversee the allocation of resources and coordinate with team members to ensure successful project execution. Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring clear, concise, and consistent updates on project progress, risks, and changes. Drive cross-functional collaboration between technology, operations, and business teams. Ensure alignment between project goals and organizational objectives. Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Engineering, Business). 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in a technology-focused environment. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Strong communication skills—both oral and written—are essential for engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PMP certification a plus). Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to make critical decisions under pressure. Willingness to relocate to Houston, TX. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing technology development or integration projects. Strong understanding of software development life cycles and technology platforms.
