UP TO A $7,500 SIGN-ON BONUS (Depending on driver experience)Christensen Inc. is looking for fuel delivery drivers operating out of Seattle for openings.SCOPE:The primary responsibility of the Fuel Delivery Driver is to make timely and accurate deliveries of Fuel to client's facilities as specified by daily delivery schedules. This will be done in accordance with State and Federal regulations while maintaining company safety standards. The Fuel Delivery Driver is also responsible for maintaining client relationships, where applicable, and provide sales leads to the sales force as they arise. Fuel Delivery Drives ensures our clients are serviced with a level of excellence that best represents our company's Core Values.SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES & DELIVERABLESAdhere to delivery schedules set forth by dispatchPerform daily Pre-and Post-Trip of the truck and report mechanical issues to OperationsComplete physical dip of tanks at the beginning and end of each delivery to verify accurate inventory and safety levelsMaintain accurate delivery and purchase detail and record on daily log sheet from stop to stopCommunicate with management and dispatch on client issues or safety concernsMaintain relationship with office personnel and respond to questions in a timely mannerReturn daily log Sheet and delivery receipts upon the completion of each shiftReport all spills and incidents to Operations ManagerOther duties to be assigned as neededLEADERSHIP & TEAM REACHSupport the various internal customers and teams with troubleshootingUnderstand and live our Core ValuesMaintain regular and consistent attendance and punctualitySKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSValid Class A or B driver's license with tanker, combination, and hazmat endorsements.A minimum of 2 years' commercial driving experience is preferred but not required.Must have the ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations with mental ability to handle receipts; read maps, road signs, maintain record of duty status, etc.Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance.Must be available for around the clock trips to accommodate freight movements and must be available for irregular shifts.Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Dept. of TransportationMust satisfactorily pass a drug test.Must satisfactorily pass an alcohol test (if applicable)PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDSOutside weather conditions including extreme heat and coldRegularly required to talk and hearVery active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbingLift and/or move items over 50 poundsVision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.COMPANY OFFERED BENEFITSAs Christensen continues to fuel exponential growth, we pursue to offer a diverse portfolio of benefits coupled with our compensation and bonus incentive programs.
