Medical Technologist Location: Santa Fe, NM Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,157 to $1,357 per week Shift Information: Days - 9 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent required. Required certification: CLS (NCA), MT (ASCP), MLS-M, or equivalent as a medical technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Candidate must meet CLIA ’88 requirements for performing high complexity testing (Federal Register, Vol. 57; 40, Subpart 493.1489). Laboratory equipment operation skills required, including competency with automated analyzers and routine bench procedures. Must read and write English and communicate effectively with clinical staff. Prefer one year of general laboratory experience. Ability to work with bloodborne pathogens and follow PPE protocols. May be required to lift or move supplies and equipment up to 50 pounds and to stand or ambulate for the full shift. BLS certification where required by client or state. Facility may require schedule adjustments based on candidate skill set; floating to other hospital locations may be required. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital laboratory. Shift: Days.
