JOB TITLE: Production Control Clerk
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Ensure all inventory transactions are accurate and provide support to floor personnel in locating/reconciling inventory when necessary
Complete weekly cycle counting and inventory location auditing activities, and make necessary corrections / system movements to ensure ongoing inventory accuracy
Work with production to ensure inventory is organized and located in an efficient manner
Manage negative inventory report, researching and making accurate corrections, as well as determining root cause of issues
Print, assemble, and distribute Job Packets as they are generated by Planning personnel
Work Order Auditing / Closing
Generate Production / Fabrication pick lists daily
Generate / Distribute weekly production schedules
Generate weekly Fabrication Dispatch schedules
Serve as a contingent for other positions within the Materials / Shipping Department
Other duties as assigned by the Materials Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
High School level education or equivalent in training
Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy/attention to detail with regard to cycle counts, inventory location audits, and system transactions
Must be proficient with Microsoft Programs: Excel, Word, and Outlook
Prior experience with ERP / MRP systems or the ability to be trained
Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of personnel internally and externally
Must be capable of working independently
Strong ability with general computer systems interaction including keyboarding and Windows software
Ability to organize and manage multiple / changing priorities toward timely completion
Requires driving a forklift
