Seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable After-School Program Assistant to join our Center Team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming, safe, and well-organized environment for the children, families, and staff we serve.Position OverviewThe After-School Program Assistant supports daily administrative tasks while also assisting with basic safety, materials preparation, and activity planning within the center. This position plays an important role in supporting both the operational and programmatic needs of our after-school services.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet families, children, and visitors in a friendly and professional mannerManage front desk operations, including phone calls, messages, scheduling support, and basic documentationAssist with check-in and check-out procedures to ensure child safetyPrepare materials for therapy sessions and group activities (e.g., organizing supplies, printing materials, setting up activity stations)Support activity planning by assisting with age-appropriate, structured after-school activities under staff guidanceHelp maintain organized therapy and activity spaces before and after sessionsMonitor common areas to help maintain a safe, calm, and structured environmentAssist with safety protocols as directed (e.g., awareness of emergency procedures, reporting concerns promptly)Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative team membersMay support client coverage in the event of a technician call-outs.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredRBT Certification (Required)Experience in an office, school, daycare, or clinical setting preferredInterest in working with children and supporting therapeutic or educational activitiesStrong organizational, communication, and time-management skillsAbility to remain calm, professional, and attentive in a busy environmentAbility to follow safety guidelines and center policiesAbility to maintain a high level of attendance (Required)ScheduleBuild up to Monday through Thursday, 3:30pm-7:30pmPart-time position; schedule may vary based on program needsIf you are interested in applying, please reach out to jordan@thelearningtreeaba.com to schedule an interview.
