Title : Java DeveloperContractLocation : New York (Onsite)Need local for this position.What You ll Do in the RoleDesign and develop a high-performance, scalable platform to support multiple Lending business lines.Develop and maintain reusable and testable backend and frontend components.Actively contribute to agile squad ceremonies and practices.Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards in all development activitiesWhat Youll Bring to the Role?8+ years of a proven development experience in Java, Spring, restful micro-services5+ years of a proven web-applications development experience in Angular, JS or TS, CSS and HTMLStrong expertise in relational or document databases (Sybase, MongoDB, or similar)Experience in OOP concepts and design patternsExperience in working with modern code IDEs such as IntelliJ or VS CodeHands-on experience with AI developer productivity tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amp, or similar)Understanding in relational or document databases (SQL, MongoDB or similar)Fluent in English with Excellent communication skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
