They are responsible for all building and grounds maintenance for their assigned site. Commitment to safety, quality, customer service, and efficiency is required. The Facility Manager must have strong people management skills. The ability to communicate across multiple organizational boundaries and disciplines is critical, including management of 25 personnel on multiple shifts. The incumbent must appreciate the importance of regular training and constant learning and have the ability to extend that desire to employees. The incumbent shall maintain a positive attitude that leads by example and emphasizes goals and expectations utilizing a variety of management techniques such as positive reinforcement and constructive criticism.Roles & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the physical plant, buildings, grounds, and building associated equipment (HVAC, vacuum systems, etc.)Supervise building maintenance, trades, and custodial personnelMay work with outside contractors for services needed by the organizationMay assist with design, layout, and planning facility projectsManages scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks and maintains recordsObtains quotes, makes purchases, and maintains budgetsCoordinates with Operations (production) for access and opportunities for maintenanceEstimates project schedules, costs, and staffing requirements to provide information for management decisionsAnalyzes and plans work force utilization and equipment needs to ensure adequate resources are available to complete assigned tasksIdentifies areas for improvement among team members and implements on the job and cross training accordingly to create a more capable and homogenous teamEnsures processes and procedures are executed in accordance with project management guidelinesEnsures WO’s and maintenance records are assigned and completedPrepares and provides reports for management. Has a working knowledge of SAPAccesses and preforms basic training with JI Quality Management System (QCBD)Must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlinesMust be at work on time and maintain good attendance. This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the jobPerforms other duties as assignedBasic QualificationsA Bachelor’s Degree is required and 1-3 years of job experience in a management role within the building industryMust have a valid driver's license with a clean driving recordMust have strong organizational skills and attention to detailMust be familiar with a variety building and construction concepts, practices and procedures, and lawsMust be familiar with Microsoft Office products and project planning softwareDue to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3)This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.Preferred QualificationsProfessional development via NFMT or IMFADETAILED WAGE INFORMATIONWage range for this role is between $90,000 - $140,000 annually, plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role.
