Charge Description Master Consultant
A company is looking for a Charge Description Master Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain changes to the charge description master to ensure compliance with regulations
Conduct internal reviews, identify issues, and provide education and training to ensure compliance
Audit charge description masters for accuracy and completeness, and communicate reimbursement information for negotiations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field
Four years of experience in billing, reimbursement, and/or coding
Strong knowledge of managed care contracts and government payor compliance
Technical knowledge of CPT-4/HCPCS and UB04 codes
Experience with healthcare billing and reimbursement processes
