CNC Drilling Machine Technician

About the RolePreventive Maintenance: Performing regularly scheduled maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, checking sensors) to prevent machine failure.Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in CNC Drill machines.Component Replacement: Repairing or replacing worn-out parts like ballscrews, spindles, servos, transformers, and wiring.Technical Documentation: Using blueprints, manuals, and schematics to understand, repair, and calibrate machinery.Documentation & Safety: Documenting all repairs in a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and adhering to strict safety protocols.Collaboration: Working with production teams to minimize downtime and assisting with operator training.QualificationsExperience: Generally 2+ years of experience maintaining CNC machinery.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and repair issues with servo motors, drives, and PLC components.Problem-Solving: Ability to work under pressure in urgent "machine down" situations.
