We are seeking a Regional Director of Wellness (RN required) to join our leadership team! This high-impact role provides strategic clinical oversight for multiple communities within the region, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and the highest quality of care. The Regional Director of Wellness will partner with community leaders to elevate standards, develop clinical talent, and advance resident-centered practices that align with AgeWell Solvere Living's mission and values. Responsibilities: The Regional Wellness Director is responsible for overseeing the implementation of AgeWell Solvere Living wellness processes, systems and programs in the nursing departments. This position works directly with the Executive Director, Wellness Director, Valeo Director, Salus Lifestyle Coach and other community department heads, as needed, to ensure policy and procedures are implemented and regulatory compliance is maintained. The Regional Wellness Director may support a community with the continued operation of the nursing department when there is a Wellness Director vacancy within the community. They will assist in the training and education of department heads and at times front line staff. This person will provide on-site and remote assistance to communities on a daily basis. Responsibilities include: Provides support to community in absence of a Wellness DirectorEnsure clinical services are provided in accordance with state regulations, accepted clinical standards, and Community policies & proceduresEnsure on-going compliance and assist in implementation of EMR/EMAR systemAssist in direct onboarding and training of new Wellness DirectorsProvide continued support to Wellness Directors in each communityAssist in implementation of AgeWell Solvere Living systems and programs in newly licensed and unlicensed communities, as well as newly added communities to the AgeWell Solvere Living portfolioIs aware and knowledgeable of the federal and state laws and regulations regarding assisted living/memory care and the regulations of the state's nursing commission; ensures and maintains regulatory compliance with all such regulationsProvide follow up and oversight to community for Plan of Correction following Quality Assurance AuditsParticipate in AgeWell Solvere Living's Annual Quality Assurance Program at the communitiesProvide site visit reports and plans of correction as needed to the management team following community site visitsAssist in implementation of new AgeWell Solvere Living and wellness initiatives in each communityCollaborates with AgeWell Solvere Living's wellness team and other AgeWell Solvere Living management team members, as neededAvailable after-hours for issues related to current resident needsAuthority Guidelines:Serves as a resource, support, and expert in the areas of wellness within a communityWill coach and provide direction in areas of wellness to community teams as neededWill communicate all new tasks assigned and initiatives with department head as well as to the Executive DirectorWill inform and review with Senior Vice President of Wellness/Chief Wellness and Compliance Officer situations involving:residents with clinical risksquestionable move inspotential resident move outsprogramming implementation updates and concernslicensing concerns, questions or presence in a communitydepartment head performance concernsWill immediately communicate with Senior Vice President of Wellness/Chief Wellness and Compliance Officer any immediate concerns identified while on site at a community or informed of via phone call Qualifications:Must be a Registered Nurse with a compact license or licensed with either of the following:A baccalaureate degree in nursing and a minimum of two (2) years of full time, or the equivalent of full-time, clinical experience in nursing, at least one year of which shall be in a home healthcare agency or Community health program that included care of the sick at home; orA diploma or associate's degree in nursing and at least four (4) years of full-time, or the equivalent of full-time, clinical experience in nursing within the past ten (10) years, at least (1) year of which shall be in a home healthcare agency or Community health program that included care of the sick at homeExperience and passion in working with older adultsAble to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 30 poundsAble to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, community team members, peers and AgeWell Solvere Living team membersIn good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseasesAble to spend long periods of time walking or standingAble to react quickly and accurately in any situation Miscellaneous:May be video recorded from devices installed by families in residents' apartmentsMay have picture taken and image used in social media or community advertisingMay be required to work weekends and holidays as assignedMay be required to work on shifts other than the one for which hiredMay be required to work extended hours (up to 16 hours per day)May be subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including HIV, AIDS, and Hepatitis B & C virusesCould be subject to hostile and emotionally upset Residents due to mental statusBackground, criminal, and drug tests may be requiredMay be asked to submit to random drug test during employment Travel Requirements:Ability to travel between states up to 75% of the time
