Responsibilities: - Execute sterile processing procedures to maintain a safe and sterile environment for patient care. - Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment efficiently. - Utilize aseptic techniques to clean, decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize medical instruments. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support medical-surgical procedures. - Adhere to regulatory standards and protocols for sterilization and infection control. - Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology related to sterile processing activities. - Ensure accurate documentation of all processed items and equipment maintenance records. Qualifications: - Certification in Sterile Processing or related field is preferred. - Proficiency in inventory management within a healthcare setting. - Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to understand medical instruments and equipment. - Familiarity with aseptic technique practices for infection prevention. - Experience in sterile processing within a hospital or clinical environment is advantageous. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting while maintaining attention to detail.
