Personal Chefs & Line Cooks - All Skill Levels Increase your pay and improve your work environment! Cookonnect is the new way to personal chef. We find the clients and manage all business/administrative tasks for you, including menu costing, billing, and scheduling. We also seek to help chefs of varying levels of experience find their entry into personal cheffing. So, whether you’re classically trained, have been working as a line cook, or are simply honing your skills at home, we want to hear from you! We are looking for culinary artists to serve as personal cooks in the Cookonnect community. Cookonnect chefs provide in-home meal preparation services to Cookonnect clients and are responsible for the shopping, cooking, and cleaning to return the client’s kitchen to its original state. As a Cookonnect chef, you receive all details necessary to complete a successful meal service, which allows you to focus on your craft. Successful candidates will meet the qualities of a Cookonnect chef: hospitable, flexible to their clients’ needs, and in love with food and family. Responsibilities Provide meal preparation services for each booking: includes shopping for ingredients, preparing the meal in the client’s home kitchen, and cleaning the kitchen and cookware used (after meal preparation) Customize meals based on customer preferences and needs (i.e. allergies and dietary requirements) Plate and refrigerate or freeze food per the client’s guidance Maintain a positive and professional approach with clients Adhere to safety standards Skills All skill levels should apply Passion for cooking and bringing families together over food Speed and attention to detail when executing cooking tasks Professional demeanor and commitment to delivering quality service Previous/current line cook, prep cook, or culinary school experience preferred Job Types: Part-time, Contract Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability Supplemental Pay: Tips COVID-19 considerations: Cooks are required to wear a mask and vaccination is highly encouraged as many clients prefer vaccinated personal chefs.
