Technical Project/Program Manager

Technical Program ManagerAs a Technical Program Manager, you will be the driving force that collaborates with business and technical teams around the globe to deliver BI solutions that are highly scalable, flexible and secure - all while maintaining a strong customer focus. You will work with cross-functional teams including software development, user experience design, technical program management, and product management to set business direction and build innovative products and services to delight our vendors worldwide. You will be the force that orchestrates all the moving pieces as needed to ensure successful and on-time delivery. You will also be the face and voice for the project teams you work with.You must be able to:Manage large technology efforts, delivering significant features or re-architectures to large, critical, and/or highly complex systems.Successfully manage all stages of a program (from concept to delivery)Collaborate closely with the software development, product and business teams to deliver high quality and scalable global servicesInfluence technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributionsDefine all aspects of projects and programs including collecting requirements, writing high-quality documents, doing sprint planning, and coordinating all efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new featuresAssess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, make tradeoffs, adapt plans, and balance business needs with technical constraintsBasic Qualifications10+ years of total years with 5+ years of experience in Technical Program/Project Management leading complex technology projects in a fast-paced environmentBS or MS degree in Computer Science or MBAExperience in delivering successful system implementations utilizing multiple project management methodologies, tools and techniques through agile methodologies and processesAbility to handle multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment with flexibility balancing feasibility and viabilityGreat problem solving skills, desire to solve problems that have no textbook solutionCommunicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all types of audiences including Directors, VPs and software developers.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience managing and delivering internet products especially large-scale BI solutionsCross-platform development experience on Teradata, Unix and Big Data Stack of technologies like HBase, Spark and Kafka
